Associate Dentist (Full time) - Crowsnest Dental

We are looking for a full-time Associate Dentist at Crowsnest Dental , this is a busy practice with the benefits of long-term mentorship opportunities, support systems, friendly staff, a team-building environment, and a network of resources available to the Associate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work collaboratively with the dental professional team, front desk, and administrative staff
  • Perform a variety of treatments including diagnostic, preventative, and restorative procedures
  • Perform basic services including, but not limited to, fillings, extractions, dental prosthetic appliance creation, denture fitting and realignment, root canals, crowns, etc.
  • Examine and diagnose patients through routine check‑ups and cleanings
  • Formulate suitable treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Build strong patient relationships by advising and educating on preventive dental care, causes and treatment of dental problems, and oral hygiene
  • Ensure patient files are updated accordingly after each interaction into the clinic's practice management software
  • Ensure all medical tools and equipment are properly maintained through disinfection, sterilization, and cleaning as per Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) principles and replaced if needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from a university recognized by our provincial regulatory body and successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) equivalency exam
  • Registered and licensed in good standing with our provincial regulatory body and eligible to practice clinical dentistry in our province
