Senior Transportation Design Engineer

Lead highway design and transportation engineering projects with Binnie from its Burnaby office, serving as Engineer of Record for alternative delivery assignments.As a Civil Design Engineer, you will manage multidisciplinary transportation projects and develop highway designs from concept through detailed design. You will work with Engineers, Project Managers, clients, and technical staff while applying applicable codes, design guides, and client standards. Binnie's Alternative Design Services Division supports notable transportation assignments.Key Responsibilities:
Manage multidisciplinary highway engineering projects and specialized sub-disciplinesLead conceptual and detailed highway design developmentPrepare contract documents, cost estimates, and tender supportPerform calculations, peer reviews, and documentation reviewsServe as EOR and sign engineering drawings and reportsRequirements:
Minimum seven years of transportation engineering experienceRegistration as a P.Eng. with EGBCTransportation design management experience across multiple disciplinesTechnical review experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D designsStrong communication, time management, accuracy, and deadline managementUse transportation engineering leadership, highway design expertise, and technical judgment to deliver Binnie projects from Burnaby.
