The role

Grow into a licensed 310S technician with us. You'll work alongside our licensed technicians and shop foreman, learning real diagnostics and repair on Kia vehicles, and your pay goes up as your skills do. We're looking for someone who asks questions, takes feedback well and wants a career, not just a job.

What you'll do

• Assist licensed technicians with diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment to find problems and recommend solutions
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations and filter replacements
• Complete repair order tasks accurately and on time, and document your work
• Inspect and test vehicles for safety and function
• Tell the service advisor when additional work is needed
• Get parts from the parts department and return them as needed
• Follow safety, environmental and waste-handling rules, and report any faulty tools or equipment
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Attend training sessions and classes and log your hours toward your licence

What we're looking for

• Registered 310S apprentice, 2nd or 3rd level
• Technical training in automotive technology preferred
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Comfortable driving manual and automatic transmissions
• Valid Ontario Class G licence with a clean driving record
• Able to work in a fast-paced shop and follow instructions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Evening and Saturday availability required
