Material Handler

Clow Canada is a national manufacturer of fire hydrants, valves and water/wastewater accessories to the Canadian market with roots dating back to the 1800s.

Work Conditions:

• Steady daytime schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m.;

On the daily, you will:

• Prepare orders for shipment;
• Ensure accuracy of shipping documents;
• Use material handling equipment safely (i.e pallet jack, forklift and skid steer).
• Manage and organize inventory;
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently;
• Perform various maintenance jobs and small repairs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent;
• Valid driver's license;
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (34 kg);
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
• Forklift certification (asset);
• Knowledge of Lean principles and/or 5S methodology (asset).

Physical Demands:

• Regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching;
• Use of hands for handling tools, parts, and equipment;
• Regular lifting and moving of materials.
