Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan plumbing installations and repairs.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate plumbing work with overall project timelines.
- Provide accurate estimates of labor and material costs for plumbing jobs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on each job site.
Requirements
- Valid plumbing license required.
- Proven experience as a plumber in construction or maintenance environments.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition and dexterity to perform manual plumbing tasks.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
