Lead data science and applied machine learning at Homebase in Toronto, with hybrid collaboration and required office days Tuesday and Wednesday.As Manager, Data Science, you will guide a growing team transforming data across product, platform, and people. You will support intelligent scheduling, hiring, payroll, pricing, personalization, and internal targeting systems. The role combines people leadership, experimentation, and production machine learning.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and grow a team of data scientistsMentor scientists to think like product and business ownersSupport end-to-end delivery of production modelsDesign A/B and multivariate experimentsPartner with Engineering, Product, and DesignRequirements:
6+ years in data science, applied machine learning, or AI2+ years mentoring and growing data scientistsStrong machine learning backgroundProficiency in SQL and PythonExperience shipping models into productionShape Homebase data products through team leadership, experimentation, SQL, Python, and applied machine learning expertise.
