- Tenir les registres de fabrication, tel que les quantités, les dimensions et le type de produits
- Commander des machines servant à doucir, à percer, à décorer, à savonner ou à polir le verre ou les produits de verre
- Préparer et régler les machines à finir le verre et les produits en verre
- Examiner visuellement les produits pour en contrôler la qualité
- Commander des machines qui pressent ou soufflent le verre fondu dans des moules pour former ou façonner des récipients
- Préparer et régler des machines automatiques à former le verre
- Examiner des échantillons du produit, les peser et les mesurer pour en vérifier le degré de conformité aux spécifications
- Examiner la feuille de verre et marquer les parties défectueuses pour obtenir la meilleure coupe
- Utiliser du matériel de commande de procédé pour couper le verre ou fabriquer des fenêtres
- Placer un patron sur ou sous le verre pour le découper
