Our family is looking for a caring and reliable live‑out nanny to support us on our acreage just outside Vulcan, Alberta. We have two wonderful daughters, ages 2 and 4, who thrive with gentle structure, imaginative play, and lots of outdoor time. Our ideal candidate will provide attentive, engaging care for both children throughout the day. We’re looking for someone who enjoys planning creative activities, encouraging learning through play, and supporting the girls’ natural curiosity. Outdoor play is a big part of our lifestyle, so comfort with rural living and acreage life is a plus. Responsibilities include:
- daily care and supervision of our 2‑ and 4‑year‑old daughters
- planning age‑appropriate, creative, and stimulating activities
- supporting routines such as meals, naps, and transitions
- light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, children’s laundry, etc.)
- moderate meal prep for the children and occasional family meal assistance
- safe transportation to activities as needed (if applicable)
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Creative and loves engaging children in hands‑on activities
- Kind, patient, and emotionally attuned
- Comfortable working independently on a rural property
- Reliable, organized, and proactive
- Experienced with young children (formal training or certifications are an asset)
- Position type: Live‑out
- Location: Acreage near Vulcan, Alberta
- Schedule: To be discussed based on mutual needs - however ideal schedule is Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm. 32 hours guaranteed/week.
- Start date: Mid February
- $20-$25/hr based on experience
- Compensation will be reviewed and adjusted if necessary after 6 months
