Bracebridge Animal Hospital is a small, close-knit veterinary team dedicated to providing high-quality medical care with compassion and professionalism. Our team consists of 3 Doctors, 4 RVTs, 4 Veterinary Assistants, and 2 Receptionists, all working together in a facility in the heart of Bracebridge.
We are proud to maintain a welcoming, small-town atmosphere while delivering exceptional care to our patients and clients. Teamwork, communication, and kindness are at the core of everything we do.
Our Clinic Operates Year-round
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time
- Hours: 32–40 hours per week
- Wage: $21.00–$23.00 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and answer phones in a friendly, professional manner
- Respond to emails and client inquiries promptly
- Assist DVMs and RVTs during appointments and treatments as needed
- Perform light cleaning and maintain clinic cleanliness
- Support animal husbandry and patient care when required
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain an organized workspace
- Stock supplies and monitor inventory
- Process payments and complete administrative tasks
- Fill prescriptions under supervision
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications
- Front desk or customer service experience is beneficial
- Previous experience working with companion animals is an asset
- Experience in a veterinary clinic setting is preferred
Requirements
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to the Bracebridge area
- Previous experience preferred:
- Front desk or reception (1 year)
- Customer service (1 year)
- Veterinary clinic experience (1 year)
