Curriculum Development Advisor in Ethiopia

Pursue your passion for vocational education as a Curriculum Development Advisor collaborating with the Ministry of Labour and Skills in Ethiopia. Drive Competency-Based Training and develop curriculum to meet industry standards. This role seeks a dedicated professional with a strong background in technical or vocational training. As a Curriculum Development Advisor, you will engage with local teams to design high-quality Occupational Standards and Modular Curricula. Your efforts will ensure that the skills taught align with local demands and international benchmarks, fostering a skilled workforce. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with local teams to develop Occupational Standards
- Create Modular Curricula and Assessment Toolkits
- Cultivate certified Lead Trainers for sustainability
- Conduct industrial gap analyses with local leaders
- Transition training to a competency-based approach
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, Master’s preferred
- Minimum 5 years in vocational training leadership
- Proficient in digital technologies and effective training practices
- Industry experience in leadership or expert roles
- Knowledge of technology fabrication and transfer
