Software Developer Co-op at Ericsson

Elevate your skills in software development with Ericsson as a Co-op in Ottawa, ON for 12–16 months starting January 11th, 2027. Engage in software production and automated testing, while leveraging AI and ML tools. This opportunity is designed for students currently enrolled in a B.Sc. or M.Sc. program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar fields with at least two years completed. You will develop software, conduct testing, and troubleshoot issues collaboratively and independently while learning from industry leaders. Key Responsibilities:

Develop production software tailored to project needs
Create automated test cases for legacy functionality preservation
Build tools utilizing AI/ML capabilities for better efficiency
Troubleshoot issues identified during testing phases
Conduct software/hardware integration testing in a lab environment

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of relevant coursework completed
Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Java, or Python
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Effective verbal and written communication in English
GPA of 2.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale
