Senior Engineer - Overhead Transmission Lines

Elevate engineering standards in high-voltage projects focused on safety and efficiency. You will be responsible for high-voltage design ranging from 69 kV to 500 kV transmission lines. Your role encompasses technical governance and oversight during all project phases, acting as Professional of Record and interfacing with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. This position demands depth in engineering judgment and innovative problem-solving. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide enterprise-level oversight for transmission line projects
- Lead design strategies, resource planning, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with Canadian engineering codes and standards
- Produce and review constructible drawings and project documentation
- Collaborate to resolve complex engineering challenges
- Bachelor’s in Electrical or Civil Engineering
- Experience in high-voltage electrical systems design
- Progress toward Professional Engineer registration
- Strong collaborative skills in multidisciplinary environments
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience
