Executive Director Canadian Regulatory Compliance

Lead regulatory compliance for Morgan Stanley's Canadian businesses using strong analysis and detailed knowledge of CIRO and FINTRAC requirements. The work supports regulated Wealth Management.As Executive Director within International Wealth Management Compliance, provide coverage for the CIRO-regulated Wealth Management business and Morgan Stanley at Work in Canada. Advise business units, develop compliance procedures, and work with Management on new business proposals. The mandate also includes training, staff supervision, and regulatory risk management across applicable laws, rules, and internal policies.Key Responsibilities:
Support management on new business proposalsAdvise business units across regulatory compliance mattersCreate policies and procedures for laws, regulations, and rulesTrain teams on compliance policies and proceduresSupervise Compliance Department staffRequirements:
Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in financial services complianceKnowledge of Canadian Anti-Money Laundering requirementsOrder Execution Only regulatory and practice knowledgeExperience with CIRO, FINTRAC, or related regulatorsExcellent English communication and strong analytical skillsUse regulatory expertise, analytical judgment, and compliance leadership to protect Morgan Stanley's Canadian Wealth Management franchise.
