An exciting opportunity has arisen for a board-certified or residency-trained Oncologist to join a highly regarded, multidisciplinary animal hospital in Ottawa. This full-time permanent position offers a dynamic caseload, supportive team, and access to state-of-the-art facilities within a thriving specialty and emergency center.
Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information
This hospital is one of Canada's most established and advanced veterinary referral centers. Operating out of a 24,500 sq ft facility, the hospital provides specialty services in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Neurology, Anesthesia, and Oncology, supported by a 24-hour Emergency Service.
This hospital is well-equipped with Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice CT, .25T Vet MR MRI, Pulsera Fluoroscopy unit, digital radiography, Philips ultrasound and echocardiogram, and Karl Storz endoscopy. In 2025, it will move into a new, 52,000 sq ft two-level facility with expanded specialty capabilities, including seven operating theaters and the latest in diagnostic imaging technologies.

Qualifications Required
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent, eligible for practice in Canada
- Board certification (ACVIM) or residency-trained in Oncology
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO)
- Eligibility to work in Canada
