Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanic based in Montreal, QC. The Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various types of vehicles and heavy equipment. Additionally, the role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues and ensuring equipment is in safe and operational condition. The Mechanic will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability of equipment to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- Experience with Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair of vehicles and heavy equipment
- Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Heavy Equipment
- Strong Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
- Ability to use tools and equipment relevant to mechanical repairs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Relevant certifications or vocational training in automotive or mechanical fields are a plus
- Prior experience in a similar role or setting is highly beneficial
- Effective communication and time management skills
