We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead – Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Canada. This is a full-time, permanent remote opportunity for an individual passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps best practices. Location: Remote – Canada Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Key Responsibilities * Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab, and ArgoCD. * Automate application deployment workflows across Development and QA environments. * Deploy, support, and manage cloud-based applications and services while ensuring scalability, availability, reliability, and high performance. * Create and maintain Dockerfiles to support consistent and repeatable container builds across environments. * Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. * Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational tasks in Linux environments. * Design, provision, and manage infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code). * Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues efficiently. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment strategies, operational efficiency, and cloud infrastructure. * Lead DevOps initiatives and mentor team members while promoting best practices and continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have) * Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, ArgoCD, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, or similar technologies. * Strong command-line and scripting expertise with Linux OS and Shell scripting (4/5 proficiency or higher preferred). * Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and provisioning. * Strong experience working with AWS Cloud Services. * Expertise in Containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Prior experience in a technical leadership or team lead role is highly preferred. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with cloud-native environments and DevOps best practices. * Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments BenefitsWhy QualiTest?
