As a Lead Environmental Planner at WSP, you'll drive critical water infrastructure projects while fostering community and environmental sustainability across Ontario. This hybrid role offers diverse challenges. WSP is looking for a Senior Environmental Planner to spearhead vital assessments for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructures. Your leadership will guide teams and ensure compliance with complex environmental regulations. Your contributions will enhance community growth and address environmental challenges, making a real difference. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead environmental assessments for essential infrastructure
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for project success
- Deliver comprehensive Municipal Class Environmental Assessments
- Engage with Indigenous Nations and stakeholders
- Mentor junior team members for professional growth
- Degree in Environmental Studies or Science
- Over 10 years in environmental assessment leadership
- Demonstrated success with Municipal Class EAs
- Strong regulatory knowledge and stakeholder engagement
- Project management and client relations expertise
