This position will be assigned to work in our group homes in Barrie, working up to 75 hours biweekly.Compensation Package:Additional hours may be available with a minimum rate of pay of $26.48/hour;11 paid Statutory Holidays;Confidential Employee Assistance program for you and for your immediate family;Following the successful completion of probation:Employer paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability, health and dental benefits; Employer paid vacation and sick time;Participation in the Multisector Pension plan;  Minimum Qualifications:Developmental Service Worker diploma or an acceptable educational equivalency (Child and Youth Worker, Early Childhood Education, Social Service Worker, Nursing, Psychology, etc.) as determined by the employer is required;6 months direct work experience with the Developmental Services Sector;Candidates who have a completed Degree or Diploma from an accredited college or university in an unrelated field must have 2 years full-time work experience directly supporting people;When submitting your resume and cover letter, please also upload a copy of your diplomas / degrees. Responsibilities include providing support for personal care, household duties, meal preparation and finances.
