We are a popular small town taco restaurant in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Located right in the downtown core of Golden, it's where any outdoor adventure enthusiast wants to be. Our crew is full of skiers, snowboarders, hikers, bikers, you name it! Come join a fun team that loves to work hard slaying tacos while having fun!
We are hiring all kitchen staff. Line cooks, prep cooks and dishwashers. All positions must be able to work in a fast paced environment, have a positive attitude and be a team player. Part-time and full time available.
Line Cook Skills: Proficiency with Kitchen Equipment: A line cook should be comfortable using a variety of equipment, including ovens, grills, stoves, food processors, and slicers.
Strong Knife Skills: Accurate and efficient knife skills are essential for preparing ingredients quickly and safely.
Knowledge of Cooking Techniques: Understanding of various cooking methods, such as grilling, roasting, sautéing, and frying, is required.
Food Safety and Sanitation: A thorough understanding of food safety procedures and sanitation standards is crucial to prevent food borne illnesses.
Recipe Following and Portion Control: Line cooks must be able to accurately follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent food quality.
Communication and Teamwork: The ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and work as part of a team is essential in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Physical Fitness: Line cooks need to be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
Organization and Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is a critical part of the job.
Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Line cooks need to be able to adapt to changing situations and troubleshoot problems effectively.
