Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Psychologist - PhD $56.568 to $69.012 Travel Required: No Job : Kinetk is a tertiary level intervention program for clients with musculoskeletal injuries. The program features strong collaboration across disciplines, an evidence based approach to practice, and priority for staff education and training. Clients/patients are often experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, loss/change, family, and marital issues, pain and health behavior. This will encompass psychological and vocational assessment and treatment services provided within a multidisciplinary team. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education
- PhD in Clinical Psychology
Other Education and Training
- Sucessful completion of a CPA
- Successful completion of an accredited pre-doctoral internship program
Competencies
- Basic - Consultation skills
- Basic - Assessment skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Clinical assessment and therapy skills in the area of major mental disorders
- Interest and training (or wiliness to train) in application to biofeedback pain
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Knowledge in psychological assessment and treatment methods and tools
- Knowledge in the field of health psychology and pain management
- Ability to work independently
