This critical role requires over five years of hands-on experience with mainframe systems and IBM Z Workload Scheduler. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that migration activities across diverse environments are executed flawlessly. A strong command of JCL, TSO/ISPF, and REXX scripting is essential to optimize automation throughout the migration process. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead batch scheduling migrations to IBM Z Workload Scheduler
- Analyze and translate legacy scheduling definitions
- Execute and validate migration cycles effectively
- Monitor batch workload execution with IZWS tools
- Create and update documentation and procedures for migrations
- 5+ years mainframe OS/390, z/OS experience
- 5+ years IBM Z Workload Scheduler expertise
- Advanced proficiency in TSO/ISPF
- Expert-level knowledge of Job Control Language
- Excellent communication skills with technical teams
