Senior Kotlin Android Developer

Build Kotlin Android experiences remotely in Canada for Just Eat Takeaway.com, focusing on courier offers, incentives, and Clean Architecture.

As a Senior Android Developer, you will advance mobile products serving the global courier network. You will collaborate with engineering teams and Product Managers, own components, and contribute to Android guild practices. The codebase uses Kotlin, Modularization, and Clean Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Define product features through engineering and Product Manager workshops
Deliver high-quality software meeting team best practices
Own component timelines and communicate progress transparently
Share Android development practices, patterns, and standards
Contribute features across repositories through the Inner Source model

Requirements:

Extensive professional experience with Kotlin
Experience building interfaces with Jetpack Compose
Understanding of multi-module Android architecture, Dependency Injection, and MVVM
Experience integrating server-side APIs within microservices ecosystems
Strong English communication, testing, and modular design skills
