What you will be doing:  

As a Banquet Server, you'll be part of a dynamic team that brings every event to life—from elegant weddings to corporate galas and special celebrations. You'll play an important role in delivering seamless service, genuine hospitality, and exceptional guest experiences from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

 

• Welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism to create a positive first impression
• Serving food and beverages efficiently while maintaining exceptional presentation and service standards
• Communicating with the kitchen team to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests
• Becoming familiar with each event's menu, timeline, and service plan
• Anticipating guest needs and providing attentive, responsive service throughout each event
• Clearing and resetting tables while maintaining clean, organized service areas
• Assisting with banquet setup, service stations, and restocking supplies as needed
• Following the direction of the Banquet Supervisor to ensure smooth, efficient event execution
• Demonstrating professionalism, sound judgment, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Working collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional service and memorable events
• Helping create unforgettable experiences for guests celebrating life's special moments
• Performing other duties as assigned to support banquet operations

• Experience in banquet, catering, restaurant, or other high-volume hospitality environments
• A natural ability to connect with guests and deliver exceptional service
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with both guests and team members
• The ability to stay organized, composed, and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure settings
• A guest-first mindset and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences
• Leadership qualities and the ability to support or guide a team when needed
• A polished, professional appearance suited to upscale events and special occasions
• Smart Serve Certification (required)
• A valid G Class driver's licence an asset
• Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
