Mechanical Project Manager in Ottawa

Lead a dynamic design team as a Mechanical Project Manager with Salas O’Brien in Ottawa, ON. Drive project success through effective contract administration and collaboration with contractors and architects.

In this on-site role, you will manage the contract documents and oversee both the technical and financial phases of ongoing construction projects. Your responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and CCNs while conducting field reviews of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and manage contract documents and administration phases • Review site drawings and respond to RFIs efficiently • Conduct site reviews for HVAC and plumbing systems • Oversee fire protection systems and safety compliance • Interface effectively with contractors and architectural teams

Requirements: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical design • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology • Registered with PEO and OACETT preferred • Familiarity with Revit and provincial building codes • Valid Ontario Driver’s License required
