Linux System Administrator

Just ask! Job Level NV-09 As a Linux system administrator, you support IT efficiency. You configure, administer, maintain and upgrade Linux servers based on the organization's needs. You lead practitioners on infrastructure maintenance. You'll need to execute initiatives that are strategic, complex and innovative. These include security, development, incident prevention, quality assurance and patching. Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your line of work. We're looking for someone who is motivated and passionate. Are you an innovative system administrator with an interest in managing infrastructure in a modern way by automating repetitive tasks? General Information on the Position Main responsibilities

• Establish a complete management of infrastructure tools (Ansible Tower, Red Hat Satellite, TIG, Pano, OpenLDAP, Perlix, Inventaire)
• Ensure the optimal performance of systems (monitor, correct issues, work with Red Hat support)
• Serve as an expert for the entire Linux team
• Ensure tools are updated
• Help develop documentation
• Help develop automatic processes to improve tool management
• Help develop and manage OS updates with Perlix
• Work closely with other squads.

• Schedule : Be available outside of business hours to oversee and support deployments
• Workplace : Position located in Lévis or Montreal, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience working on projects in large organizations
• Experience in Linux infrastructure administration

Specific knowledge

• Proficient in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8
• Proficient in Ansible and Python programming languages
• Knowledge of Red Hat Satellite and Ansible TOWER
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub, GitHub Action
• Knowledge of modern virtual environments (ESX-V, ESX-T)
• Knowledge of Azure cloud computing
