Seneca Mental Health Program Professor

This position, housed within the School of Community Services, calls for a passionate educator for the Honours Bachelor of Mental Health and Addiction program. You will ensure a dynamic classroom experience, develop relevant curricula, and provide mentorship to students and peers. Engage in practical initiatives that connect classroom knowledge to community health industries. Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster student participation through innovative educational technology
  • Design assessments targeting diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on curriculum objectives
  • Mentor colleagues to enhance teaching practices
  • Conduct industry-linked applied research
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of post-secondary teaching
  • 5+ years in mental health and addiction
  • Ph.D. in a related field or ABD status
  • Experience in community-based research
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
