L’intégrateur(trice) de systèmes d’air est responsable de la conception, de l’intégration et de la validation des systèmes d’air d’un aéronef tout au long de son cycle de vie. Ce rôle vise à assurer que les systèmes respectent les exigences de performance, de sécurité, de réglementation et de certification, tout en fonctionnant de façon harmonieuse avec les autres systèmes de l’aéronef. Le poste implique une collaboration étroite avec des équipes d’ingénierie multidisciplinaires, des fournisseurs et les autorités de certification.

Votre rôle

Conception et intégration des systèmes

• Diriger l’intégration des systèmes d’air de l’aéronef, incluant les systèmes de contrôle environnemental, d’air prélevé (bleed air), de pressurisation cabine et les sous-systèmes associés
• Assurer les interfaces adéquates et la compatibilité fonctionnelle entre les systèmes d’air et les autres systèmes de l’aéronef (structures, avionique, propulsion, carburant, etc.)
• Développer et maintenir l’architecture système, les spécifications et les documents de contrôle d’interface (ICD)

Performance et analyses techniques

• Réaliser des analyses au niveau système (thermique, pression, écoulement d’air, scénarios de défaillance) afin de valider la conformité aux exigences techniques et opérationnelles
• Contribuer aux études de compromis (trade studies) et aux activités d’optimisation afin d’atteindre les objectifs de poids, coût, fiabilité et performance
• Réviser et approuver les données techniques, dessins et logiciels fournis par les équipes internes et les fournisseurs externs

Vérification, validation et certification

• Définir les exigences système et les plans de vérification conformément aux règlements de certification (ex. normes de l’aviation civile applicables)
• Participer aux essais au sol et en vol (préparation, soutien à l’exécution et analyse post-essai)
• Collaborer avec les équipes de certification et de navigabilité pour appuyer la conformité réglementaire et la documentation

Collaboration avec fournisseurs et parties prenantes

• Agir comme point de contact technique pour les fournisseurs de systèmes d’air (développement, résolution de problèmes, revues techniques)
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de fabrication, d’approvisionnement, de gestion de programme et de support en service afin d’assurer la maturité de la conception et sa fabricabilité
• Soutenir la gestion de configuration, la gestion des changements et les dérogations

Résolution de problèmes et amélioration continue

• Analyser et résoudre les enjeux liés à la conception, à l’intégration et à l’exploitation en service des systèmes d’air
• Contribuer aux initiatives d’amélioration continue, aux retours d’expérience et aux meilleures pratiques en ingénierie système

Vos compétences et expériences

• Baccalauréat en génie aérospatial, génie mécanique ou discipline connexe
• Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en ingénierie, intégration ou conception de systèmes aéronautiques, idéalement dans un environnement réglementé
• Expérience pratique avec les systèmes d’air, systèmes de contrôle environnemental ou systèmes pneumatiques (un atout majeur)
• Expérience dans des programmes de développement aéronautique, en certification ou en support en service (atout)
• Solide compréhension des principes d’intégration des systèmes aéronautiques et des processus d’ingénierie système
• Expérience en gestion des exigences, définition d’interfaces et activités de vérification/validation
• Capacité à lire et interpréter des dessins techniques, schémas et spécifications
• Connaissance des normes aérospatiales, des pratiques de certification et des processus d’évaluation de la sécurité
• Expérience avec des outils d’ingénierie (gestion des exigences, modélisation système, gestion de configuration)
• Connaissance des environnements CAO et d’outils de simulation ou d’analyse (atout)
• Maîtrise des outils bureautiques standards

About The Job You're Considering

The Air Systems Integrator is responsible for the design, integration, and validation of aircraft air systems throughout the full product lifecycle. This role ensures that air systems meet performance, safety, regulatory, and certification requirements while functioning seamlessly with other aircraft systems. The position involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, and certification authorities.

Your Role

System Design & Integration

• Lead the integration of aircraft air systems, including environmental control systems, bleed air, cabin pressurization, and related subsystems.
• Ensure proper interfaces and functional compatibility between air systems and other aircraft systems (structures, avionics, propulsion, fuel, etc.).
• Develop and maintain system architecture, specifications, and interface control documents (ICDs).

Performance & Technical Analysis

• Perform system-level analyses (thermal, pressure, airflow, fault scenarios) to validate design compliance with technical and operational requirements.
• Support trade studies and design optimization activities to meet weight, cost, reliability, and performance targets.
• Review and approve technical data, drawings, and software delivered by internal teams and external suppliers.

Verification, Validation & Certification

• Define system requirements and verification plans in accordance with certification regulations (e.g., applicable civil aviation standards).
• Support ground and flight test activities, including preparation, execution support, and post-test analysis.
• Collaborate with certification and airworthiness teams to support compliance findings and regulatory documentation.

Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Serve as a technical focal point for air system suppliers, supporting development, issue resolution, and technical reviews.
• Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, program management, and in-service support teams to ensure design maturity and producibility.
• Support configuration control, change management, and concession activities.

Problem Resolution & Continuous Improvement

• Investigate and resolve design, integration, and in-service issues related to air systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and best practices within systems engineering.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in aircraft systems engineering, integration, or design, preferably within a regulated aerospace environment.
• Hands-on experience with air systems, environmental control systems, or pneumatic systems is highly desirable.
• Exposure to aircraft development programs, certification activities, or in-service support is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems integration principles and system engineering processes.
• Experience with requirements management, interface definition, and verification/validation activities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards, certification practices, and safety assessment processes.
• Experience with engineering tools for requirements management, system modeling, and configuration management.
• Knowledge of CAD environments and basic simulation or analysis tools is an asset.
• Proficiency with standard office and documentation tools.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $102,884 - $125 747 CAD / year, considering # of years experience. 

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
