Become a key contributor at Symatics as an FPGA Platform Engineer, focusing on cutting-edge hardware design for AI inference accelerators. Lead architecture to implementation for innovative semiconductor technology. As a crucial member of the Symatics team, you will transition from FPGA proof-of-concept work to defining system requirements for silicon. Your expertise in system and board design will play a pivotal role in developing multi-FPGA prototypes. Collaborate with software teams for drivers and firmware, while employing rigorous lab practices during validation and debugging steps. Key Responsibilities:
- Build multi-FPGA prototypes and lab rigs
- Port RTL to FPGA; ensure timing closure
- Define system-level requirements such as interface and power
- Write validation procedures for product launch
- Collaborate on firmware and demo workload development
- BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 7+ years in FPGA prototyping and board design
- Proficiency with Vivado and multi-gigabit transceivers
- Strong lab skills for debug and validation tasks
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python/Tcl
