Senior Reservoir Simulation Scientist at CMG

Become a Senior Reservoir Simulation Scientist with CMG, contributing innovative technologies for improving oil and gas productivity. In this pivotal role, you will be part of CMG’s CoFlow development team, focusing on reservoir and production engineering technologies. Your responsibilities will include enhancing fluid modeling capabilities and collaborating with a dedicated team to produce high-quality engineering software. Understanding the requirements of reservoir engineers is essential for this position. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and extend CoFlow’s fluid modeling capabilities
Design and implement innovative software solutions
Collaborate with team members to enhance software development processes
Develop clear software feature specifications
Engage in testing and maintenance of engineering software

Requirements:

10+ years in engineering software development
Proficient in C++, Fortran, or C# programming
Experience with Agile methodologies and TDD
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Master’s degree in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering
