Canada Head of Alternative Distribution

Drive the distribution of Gopher’s alternative assets in Canada, emphasizing key Chinese financial networks. Build strategic relationships with private banks and HNW advisors in major cities. You will create a comprehensive channel ecosystem from scratch, targeting affluent Chinese clients while ensuring compliance with Canadian financial regulations. This role includes building brand presence and scaling local teams to meet growth objectives. Key Responsibilities:

• Build a robust distribution strategy with key partners
• Develop relationships with HNW clients in Vancouver and Toronto
• Work with local teams to ensure regulatory compliance
• Enhance brand awareness through industry events
• Manage the P&L for the Canadian distribution team

Requirements:

• 12+ years of wealth management or channel development experience
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, based in Canada
• Valid Canadian financial license (CSC, CFP, CFA, or EMD)
• Established relationships with Chinese HNW clients
• Sales experience in alternative investments is a plus
