Build AI-powered applications remotely at Fable using LLM integration, agentic workflows, and full-stack engineering across customer-facing products.Fable seeks a Senior Software Engineer and senior individual contributor with deep backend expertise. You will design scalable services, modern full-stack applications, and production AI capabilities. The work includes AWS, REST APIs, distributed systems, React, Node.Js, and Kubernetes.Key Responsibilities:
Own technical solutions from customer needs through production deliveryBuild backend services, APIs, microservices, and distributed systemsDevelop LLM integrations, RAG, tool calling, and AI agentsPartner with Product Managers and Designers on customer solutionsMentor engineers through reviews, guidance, and knowledge sharingRequirements:
Eight or more years of professional software development experienceExtensive backend experience building scalable production systemsHands-on experience with AI-enabled applications and agentic workflowsExperience with AWS, REST APIs, databases, and messaging systemsBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experienceBring senior technical ownership, AI development, and backend expertise to Fable's accessible digital products from a remote-first setting.
