Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Kitimat, BC

GFL Environmental is seeking a dependable, hardworking Manual Side Loader (MSL) Residential Collection Driver to join our team in Kitimat.

In this role, you aren’t just driving—you are the heartbeat of the neighborhood. You will operate a heavy commercial vehicle and manually collect waste and recycling from local residents, ensuring our community stays beautiful.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Safely: Navigate residential routes, tight streets, and cul-de-sacs in Kitimat safely and efficiently.

• Get Moving: Manually lift, roll, and dump residential waste and recycling bins into the side hopper of the truck.

• Stay Sharp: Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure your truck is safe and road-ready.

• Be a Team Player: Deliver excellent customer service and represent the "Green For Life" brand with pride.

What We’re Looking For

• A Valid License: Class 3 or Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with an Air Brake endorsement.

• Clean Record: A clean Commercial Driver’s Abstract.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and comfortable stepping in and out of a truck cab all day in all weather conditions (rain, snow, or shine).

• Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to start early in the morning.
