Backend Software Engineer for AI Startup

Join an innovative AI startup as a Backend Software Engineer. This position focuses on developing Python backend services and ensuring data security for leading global brands. Our client, a fast-growing AI startup, seeks a skilled Backend Software Engineer. In this role, you will build and maintain essential Python services, focusing on API development and data management. You'll also ensure robust tenant isolation and support security initiatives vital for maintaining industry standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Python backend services and APIs
- Strengthen multi-tenant data isolation and security controls
- Implementation of authentication and permissions management
- Own encryption for stored credentials and secrets
- Maintain production health and assist with incident response
- Strong Python programming skills with backend experience
- Keen understanding of security and tenant isolation
- Familiarity with SQL and relational database design
- Experience in production environments and observability
- Comfortable making decisions in an early-stage team
