Nanny Wanted - Seeking Experienced Nanny For Newborn And Growing Family

We are looking for an experienced nanny to become our family’s main childcare provider in our home as we return to work after welcoming our second child. We have a friendly medium-sized dog, so being comfortable around pets is important (though there are no pet-related responsibilities). We’re seeking someone who is warm, reliable, organized, and proactive, who enjoys caring for children. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (mileage would be reimbursed), and is comfortable taking children to activities and outings. Our oldest child (4) currently attends preschool and will be starting Junior Kindergarten in the fall. Care will primarily focus on our younger child (3 months) during the day, though we are looking for someone flexible and comfortable helping with occasional pick-ups, PA days, school breaks, and supporting both children’s routines. Responsibilities

• Providing attentive, engaging childcare in our home
• Preparing lunch/snacks for the children and cleaning up afterward
• Children’s laundry and bedding
• Keeping children’s rooms, toys, and play areas tidy and organized
• Taking children to activities and outings
• Occasional preschool/school pick-ups

Both parents work from home in a dedicated office space and value a calm, independent caregiver who is comfortable managing the day without hands-on involvement from us. Other Key details:

• Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, but there could be flexibility and we would consider slightly fewer hours for the right candidate
• 10 days vacation ( week off during Christmas holidays)
• Guaranteed hours, salaried position
• Desired start date: Early July, though we are flexible for sooner / later

Requirements

• 5 years of experience
• Non-smoker
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle
• CPR and first-aid certification
