Build production machine learning systems at Reddit using Python, model serving, and large-scale data pipelines. Work spans Consumer and Ads organizations across the platform.As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will develop systems supporting recommendations, search, ranking, advertising, and user understanding. You will own machine learning lifecycles from problem definition and feature engineering through deployment and monitoring. The work includes deep learning, transformers, graph methods, and LLM evaluation or alignment.Key Responsibilities:
Design and deploy production machine learning models at scaleBuild reliable pipelines with observability and automated retrainingImprove latency, throughput, and model quality metricsPartner with Product, Data Science, Infrastructure, and EngineeringContribute to technical strategy and long-term machine learning roadmapsRequirements:
Three to five-plus years operating production machine learning systemsStrong Python, Java, Go, or similar programming skillsKnowledge of statistical learning and deep learning architecturesExperience with PyTorch or TensorFlow frameworksExperience designing scalable pipelines and model-serving infrastructureApply machine learning, software engineering, and production systems expertise to Reddit’s discovery, relevance, and advertising experiences.
