Drive innovation at BitGo as a Senior Software Engineer focused on Accounting and Ledger Systems. Collaborate onsite in Toronto to enhance ledger design and financial accuracy in products.
Join BitGo, a leader in digital asset infrastructure, where you'll apply accounting knowledge to complex distributed systems. This role demands a strong foundation in double-entry bookkeeping and over five years in backend software engineering. You'll ensure that features model financial principles accurately before deployment, supporting the company's commitment to a digital asset economy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and extend core ledger systems for financial products
• Own the chart-of-accounts and connect to financial reporting
• Work with on-chain and off-chain data verification
• Collaborate with engineering teams on new feature designs
• Create flexible data models for evolving financial products
Requirements:
• In-depth knowledge of accounting fundamentals
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Skills in extensible system design and APIs
• Ability to critique technical designs across systems
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams
