Automotive Mechanic T.G.A. Think Green Alberta Ltd. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Dusty Noisy Work setting Workshop Responsibilities: Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit Discuss work with supervisor Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions Inspect motor in operation Road test motor vehicles Test automotive systems and components Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems Repair or replace mechanical units or components Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs Perform scheduled maintenance service Test and adjust units to specifications Complete reports to record problems and work performed Experience and specialization Area of specialization Engine repair Alignment, steering and suspension Brake system Hydraulic system Fuel and emission system Ignition and electrical system Automatic transmission Engine repair and overhaul Front end components Additional information Security and safety Driving record check (abstract) Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Manual dexterity Standing for extended periods Own tools/equipment Tools Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Accurate Dependability Flexibility Reliability Punctuality Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Health care plan Vision care benefits Financial benefits Group insurance benefits Other benefits Free parking available Until: 2026-06-15
