Stockroom Clerk

Job Responsibility:

Dexter Construction is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces and we are currently seeking a Stockroom Clerk. This position will be based out of Moncton , NB

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Physical and electronic receiving of inventory;
• Handle and storage of all parts and inventory;
• Inventory management, cycle counts;
• Cleanliness of warehouse;
• Follow up of short ship and damaged goods;
• Shipping and receiving duties;
• Maintain stock levels - order reorder;
• Use company supplied inventory management system;
• Purchasing of inventory;
• Support operations and maintenance staff with counter service;
• Work closely with operations and maintenance personnel to ensure adequate stock levels;
• All other duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:

• 2 + years' experience in a warehouse environment;
• Forklift experience considered an asset;
• Indoor and outdoor activity required;
• Ability of lifting up to 50lbs;
• Willingness to work in a team environment;
• Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner;
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors;
• Working safely is a condition of employment.

The typical hours of work are 7:00am - 5:30pm on a rotating shift but may be subject to change based on the needs of the department.
