Jr Accounting Clerk – Team Henderson Custom Crushing

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and maintain various reports and spreadsheets for management review
• Prepare and process weekly payroll
• Prepare remittances to CRA for payroll
• Ensure accuracy of financial records by reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and other ad-hoc reports
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information
• Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve accounting discrepancies
• Perform other duties as assigned by the accountant’s office

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Quickbooks Online experience a must
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed.

Wage - $22 – 25/hr  --  paid weekly

No benefits

Full time with possible option to work hybrid

Location – Marmora Ontario

Must have own transportation

Hours are 9 – 4pm
