What you will be doing

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Project Logistics Coordinator supports offshore, marine, and project cargo activities, contributing to the successful execution of complex logistics movements across international markets. This role works closely with global teams, clients, and service partners to coordinate shipments and ensure reliable, high-quality service delivery.

In the initial phase, the position focuses on supporting operational and administrative aspects of offshore and marine logistics, including coordination, documentation, and communication across stakeholders. Over time, the role will evolve into taking ownership of individual projects, managing end-to-end execution, including planning, customs requirements, and coordination with carriers and vendors.

With a strong focus on safety, operational efficiency, and cost control, the Project Logistics Coordinator plays an important role in delivering project cargo solutions while supporting the growth of the offshore and marine logistics function.

You will be contributing to that vision by…

• Support the coordination of offshore, marine, and project cargo shipments, including export, import, and domestic movements across multiple modes of transport
• Assist with day-to-day operational and administrative activities, including documentation, data entry, and shipment tracking
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely and complete delivery, maintaining proactive communication with internal teams, clients, and service providers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment data within internal systems, ensuring strong data integrity and visibility
• Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, carriers, port terminals, and project vendors to support smooth execution
• Support the sourcing and coordination of specialized vendors, including carriers, terminals, and service providers relevant to offshore and marine logistics
• Assist in negotiating rates and service terms with logistics providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable solutions
• Identify shipments requiring special handling, including oversized, heavy-lift, or time-sensitive cargo, and support planning accordingly
• Review shipping and customs documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulatory and project requirements
• Contribute to resolving operational challenges and escalating issues where needed to ensure minimal disruption
• Progressively take on increased responsibility for coordinating and managing individual offshore and project logistics movements
• Support project planning activities, including timelines, cost considerations, and coordination across stakeholders
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies within the offshore and marine logistics function

What skills & experience you will bring to us

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 2+ years of operational experience in freight forwarding, preferably within offshore, marine, or project logistics environments
• Solid understanding of import and export processes, including documentation, bills of lading, delivery orders, and customs requirements
• Exposure to project cargo, heavy-lift, out-of-gauge, or time-critical shipments is a strong asset
• Familiarity with offshore and marine operations, including coordination with ports, terminals, or vessel operators, is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across international teams and stakeholders
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and accountability
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support broader operational objectives
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, including freight calculations and unit conversions
• Working knowledge of international trade principles, including practical application of Incoterms
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, operational environment
• Flexibility to work across time zones and support operational requirements as needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Experience with logistics or shipment management systems is an asset
• Willingness to work extended hours when required to support project timelines
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as required
