High School Principal

Job Responsibility:

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Principal to lead our educational institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, fostering academic excellence, and ensuring the overall well-being of students and staff. The School Principal will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and the community to promote a culture of continuous improvement and student achievement.

Duties

• Oversee daily school operations, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement school policies, procedures, and programs that promote student success.
• Lead curriculum development and instructional practices to enhance teaching effectiveness.
• Manage teacher recruitment, training, evaluation, and professional development initiatives.
• Foster a safe and inclusive school environment that supports diverse learning needs.
• Engage with parents and community stakeholders to build strong partnerships that support student learning.
• Monitor student performance data to inform instructional decisions and improve outcomes.
• Facilitate communication between administration, teachers, students, and parents to ensure transparency and collaboration.
• Address disciplinary issues in accordance with school policies while promoting positive behavior among students.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Education Administration or a related field is preferred.
• An experienced principal/vice principal with minimum of 2 years is preferred.
• Valid Ontario Teacher's College License as a School Principal or Administrator.
• Proven experience in educational leadership or administration within a K-12 setting.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students and staff.
• Ability to analyze data for decision-making purposes related to student achievement.
