Associate Dentist for Maternity Leave

Explore an exciting opportunity as a Locum Associate Dentist at Southwood Dental in Edmonton. This role supports a maternity leave and offers immediate productivity in a busy clinic environment. Southwood Dental is actively seeking a qualified dentist for a four-month maternity leave replacement. You will join a fast-paced clinic that prioritizes emergency and general dentistry, enabling you to rapidly engage with patients and deliver quality care. This position is suitable for practitioners comfortable working independently in high-volume settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine procedures such as fillings and extractions
- Address emergency dental cases efficiently
- Work on basic endodontics and oral surgery procedures
- Collaborate with the dental team for cohesive patient care
- Use Dentrix PMS and other digital tools for practice efficiency
- Preferably 1–2 years of dental experience
- Graduation from an accredited DDS/DMD program
- Compliance with provincial licensing standards
- Current CPR certification required
- Applicant must be located in Canada
