Senior Business Analyst - Federal Government Role

Maplesoft Group is actively hiring Senior Business Analysts to work on federal government projects in Ottawa, Ontario, requiring a Top Secret clearance. Bring your robust business analysis skills to impactful government IM/IT initiatives. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing business requirements and developing high-level documentation that facilitates successful technology implementation. This role encompasses collaborating with diverse stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements. Candidates should exhibit a strong IT background with extensive experience in business analysis methodologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing procedures and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Draft business cases and requirements traceability matrices
- Lead discussions with both business and technical teams
- Support UAT and project implementation phases
- Valid Government of Canada Secret clearance
- Must be eligible for Top Secret security clearance
- 10+ years as a Senior Business Analyst or similar role
- Relevant certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA
- Expertise in business requirements gathering methodologies
