Independent Community Occupational Therapist Ontario

Enhance community health as an Independent Community Occupational Therapist with CBI Health in Northwestern Ontario. Focus on client outcomes, from assessment to treatment, while enjoying flexible work hours and remote opportunities. As a crucial member of the CBI Health team, you will manage treatment plans for clients recovering from workplace and motor vehicle injuries. Engage with a diverse group to develop tailored solutions that span physical recovery, cognitive rehabilitation, and psychosocial support. Collaborate with professionals across Ontario to support a successful return to daily activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess overall client needs from intake to discharge
- Provide tailored treatments for physical and mental health disorders
- Coordinate home modifications and assistive device setups
- Facilitate return-to-work processes with all relevant stakeholders
- Teach group educational classes for client engagement
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience in auto sector legislation is a plus
