Event Marketing Specialist 12-Months Contract

The Event Marketing Specialist will help in the develop ment and execut ion of National sales events. The candidate wil l conceptualize plan and execute event campaigns for Single Family Residence Commercial Lending Deposit Services Digital Banking and Corporate programs . Th e events channel is an important function of the Equitable Bank marketing mix and the ideal candidate will help us elevate our go-to-market presence . Th e candidate will be a core member of the external Events team at Equitable Bank and will have the opportunity to grow their career within a creative and experimental marketing environment . The Event Marketing Specialist will repor t to the Manager Event Marketing and the role is based in Toronto.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to planning coordinat ing and execut ing the Banks involvement in conferences trade shows education sessions and mortgage broker appreciation events .

• Assist in managing the annual event calendar including sporting events .

• Visit venues to plan layout of seating menu overall design and décor .

• Coordinate event logistics including researching negotiating and securing event spaces budget man agement registration and attendee tracking arranging presentation and / or marketing materials and promotional items .

• Collaborate with internal Creative team to promote and publicize the event through channels such as email and social media .

• Foster new and nurture ongoing relationships with external partners including event managers for brokerages and broker associations .

• Organize and maintain inventory of event set-up equipment and marketing materials .

• Assists with invoice management and reconciliation .

• Contribute to the post-mortem evaluation of events to measure success and make optimization recommendations .

Knowledge / Skill Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in event planning .

• Post-secondary or coll e ge certification in Event Planning Event Management or related program .

• Advanced kno wledge of Microsoft Office including Word Outlook Excel and P owerPoint .

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills .

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills .

• Goodknowledge of event design flow and logistics.

• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment .

• Capacity to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously .

• Proactive mindset with the ability to work well with tight timelines.

• Ability tobe onsiteforeventsduring the day and some evenings/weekends.

• Must be able tolift as much as30 some event set-upmay be required.
