Battalia Workforce is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead industrial machinery installation works in Napanee, ON. You'll be the key link between project management and skilled trades on the ground — overseeing crane operations, millwright and ironworker crews, and ensuring safe, efficient execution from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
• Supervise crane operations & equipment deliveries
• Direct millwright & iron welder crews
• Oversee machinery assembly, precision alignment & installation
• Interpret blueprints, schematics & manufacturer specs
• Enforce OHSA compliance & safe rigging/hoisting practices
• Manage daily schedules & resource allocation
• Liaise with PMs, engineers, subcontractors & other trades
• Track progress, risks & hazards — report daily
• Maintain work orders, daily logs & status reports
• Monitor materials, tools & spare parts on site
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience supervising industrial or mechanical installation projects
• Background working with millwrights, ironworkers, or heavy rigging crews
• Strong knowledge of safe crane & hoisting operations
• Familiarity with OHSA regulations & site safety protocols
• Ability to read & interpret technical drawings & schematics
• Strong communication & crew leadership skills
