Lead remote camp maintenance across Canada using mechanical aptitude, facilities expertise, and safe hands-on fieldwork in challenging environments.Matrix seeks a Remote Camp Facilities Maintenance Lead for mining, exploration, and industrial camps. You will support site operations, maintain essential infrastructure, and lead daily maintenance work. The position covers northern and Arctic locations accessed by winter ice roads.Key Responsibilities:
Maintain camp buildings, accommodations, storage, and surrounding areasTroubleshoot generators, plumbing, pumps, electrical components, and infrastructureCoordinate cleaning, general labour, loading, and unloading supportComplete snow clearing, ice management, and winter access maintenanceRecord inspections, maintenance activities, deficiencies, and completed repairsRequirements:
Previous remote camp experience supporting site operationsBasic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical knowledgeExperience with diesel generators, off-road vehicles, and chainsawsValid driver's license, PAL license, and Level 1 First AidAbility to lift 50 pounds and work twelve-hour shiftsApply your facilities maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and leadership skills supporting Matrix camps across northern and Arctic Canada.
