Technical Leadership Software Developer

Join The North West Company as a Software Development Lead, where you'll provide hands-on technical leadership in a collaborative environment. You'll translate business requirements into scalable solutions and drive software delivery excellence.
As a Software Development Lead, you’ll utilize your extensive experience to guide project teams through the software development lifecycle. This role requires strong skills in Python, C#, .NET, and Agile practices, as well as promoting software engineering best practices. Your collaborative mindset will help foster an inclusive culture within the team.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead design, development, and deployment of software solutions - Translate business needs into technical designs and integrations - Provide technical leadership to ensure high-quality solutions - Participate in Agile processes including backlog refinement - Monitor production deployments and troubleshoot issues
Requirements: - Minimum 5 years in software development, preferably in retail - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent - Strong experience with enterprise applications and databases - Familiarity with modern web frameworks, especially React - Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration
