In this position, you will provide comprehensive administrative and communications support to the Vice-President of the Transportation and Logistics Division while coordinating projects, managing schedules, and supporting key business initiatives.
- Pay Rate: $22 - $26 per hour (depending on experience, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates)
- Location: Saint John, NB
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Employment Type: Full-Time Temporary Contract (6-8 weeks) with potential to become a long-term opportunity

- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Vice-President, including day-to-day office administration.
- Prepare, proofread, and format correspondence, presentations, reports, and other business documents.
- Coordinate communications activities, including planning, content development, and production of materials.
- Manage calendars, meetings, and complex travel arrangements.
- Coordinate and submit expense reports.
- Maintain accurate records and support document and information management activities.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to complete intermediate-level spreadsheet calculations and data tracking.
- Assist with report development and basic data visualization.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as required.
- Coordinate and support official meetings, events, and communications initiatives.
- Provide project coordination support across cross-functional teams to ensure actions are completed according to established timelines.
- Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Senior Administrative Assistant supporting senior leadership.
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or a related field is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional, proactive, energetic, and team-oriented approach.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and processes.
