Regional Operations Manager

The Opportunity:

Our client is a national Dental Service Organization (DSO) with a growing network of 50+ clinics. They are seeking a hands-on Regional Manager to oversee a group of high-volume clinics in BC. This pivotal role is responsible for driving practice performance and operational efficiency, with a strong focus on upskilling Practice Managers and ensuring clinics meet clinical, financial, and cultural standards.

As the key liaison between head office support teams and clinic leadership, the Regional Manager will lead revenue and schedule management, provide day-to-day oversight of clinic teams, and proactively triage operational issues. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about optimizing patient care outcomes while supporting team development and accountability at the clinic level.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and support daily operations across multiple clinics, ensuring alignment with company goals and patient experience standards
• Analyze financial performance, P&L statements, and key reports to uncover opportunities and drive growth
• Monitor schedules and revenue daily, identifying root causes of inefficiencies or performance dips
• Address people-related needs, such as coaching, wage changes, and leave coverage in collaboration with HR
• Troubleshoot complex issues like AR challenges, low doctor attendance, or implementation of new services or tools
• Support the rollout and compliance of clinic-wide initiatives including Care Cru, billing updates, and technology upgrades
• Act as a mentor and coach to Office Managers, helping them grow their leadership capabilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clinic teams and providers based on trust and shared goals
• Oversee and improve patient acquisition, retention, and satisfaction metrics through operational adjustments
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align marketing, facilities, HR, and finance strategies to clinic needs
• Identify and act on service expansion opportunities such as hygiene program growth or new imaging capabilities
• Manage staffing levels, expenses, and onboarding in line with operational plans and clinic goals
• Visit clinics regularly to observe operations firsthand, troubleshoot issues, and provide support
• Champion a culture of accountability, open communication, and continuous improvement
• Ensure all clinics are meeting internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and team engagement goals

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• 5+ years of experience managing multiple service-based locations, ideally in healthcare or dental.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret data and lead operational change.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills across all levels of staff.
• Knowledge of dental clinic operations, technologies, and compliance is an asset.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally and executing growth plans.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the Lower Mainland.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $120,000 base salary
